Last days I finished sewing this dress,
it end up pretty well to me :D

then I sewn a bias and added a ribbon

I just noticed the mistake I made concerning

the light on the base of the bottle =_=

and my cristal is not very glorious...

I know that you can't really realize that
I have to use awfully tiny brushes,
particularly concerning the size of the gouaché
this one was made on an A6, and something like 10/5cm

I had a project to work on,
" choose a country, search for pattern and create a set"

I decided to work on Sweden ♥♥♥

(french translation below)

Imaginary trip

I use the trees pattern, upside down we can't identify what is it. Fish swimming between the trees recalling that Sweden is both coastal and forestal. It mean that trees can only be a reflection.
Dominant colors are shades of blue that evoke the cold, the unreal, the dream of another country, or even another world. The theme of dream is strengthened by upsidedown / reflected trees and water element indicating perfectly the world of immateriality.
While some trees have branches evoking waves, others are built vertically accompanying the vertical trunks and jewel shape and evoke the minimalist style of Swedish design.

The earring includes the vertical lines of the pendant, but trees are just reminded by two vertical strips of wood, which shows in all cases that water dominates (indeed in the pendant, trees are a reflection, an optical projection and so immaterial of a real object)

(if there is lots of mistake tell me, I am pretty bad at translation D: )

Voyage imaginaire

Le pendentif reprend le motif des arbres, mais a l’envers ce qui au premier abord ôte la référence concrète, des poissons circulent entre les arbres rappelant que la Suède est a la fois un pays forestier et côtier et indique que les arbres pourraient n’être qu’un reflet.
Les couleurs dominantes sont un camaïeu de bleus qui évoquent le froid et l’irréel, le rêve d’un autre pays, ou même d’un autre monde. Monde onirique renforcé par les arbres renversés/reflétés et l’élément aquatique indiquant par excellence le monde de l’immatérialité.
Si certains des arbres ont des embranchements évoquant des vagues d’autres sont construits verticalement accompagnant la verticalité des troncs et du bijou et suggèrent le style épuré du design suédois.

La boucle d’oreille reprend les lignes verticales du pendentif, mais les arbres ne sont rappelés que par deux bandes verticales de bois, ce qui montre que dans tous les cas le milieu aquatique domine (en effet dans le pendentif, les arbres ne sont qu’un reflet, soit une projection optique et donc immatérielle d’un objet réel)

I created the design (I know it's uuuugly D: )

theme : snake queen

A "femme fatale"
The snake, organic animal, evokes the sensualism, capable of killing by a too important embrace. He symbolizes the ultimate femme fatale, meaning particularly used in Art Nouveau.
Here the snake is tempting, charming by its undulations, in a triangle pointing downward symbol of the female sex. There are nevertheless dangerous, rhombuses on its body reminding its predator's nature.
Lianas represent a jungle, the mysterys and danger of the unknown as the snake. Flowers are fuchsias, symbolizing the fervour and the longing aroused by the snake, by its status of queen and woman.

Une femme fatale
Le serpent, animal organique évoque la sensualité, capable de tuer par une étreinte trop importante. Il symbolise par excellence la femme fatale, signification particulièrement utilisée dans l’art nouveau.
Ici le serpent se fait tentateur, charmant par ses ondulations, dans un triangle pointant vers le bas symbole du sexe féminin, mais il reste néanmoins dangereux les losanges sur son corps rappelant sa nature de prédateur.
Les lianes représentent une jungle, l’inconnu mystérieux et dangereux tout comme le serpent. Les fleurs sont des fuchsias, symbolisant la ferveur et le désir ardent suscité par le serpent, par son statut de reine et de femme.

I have various things to blog about...
but I didn't because I'm working like a ~~slave~~ room maid
in a fucking awful hotel (I saw Courtney Love)
...to pay the rent of my new spot : D

So, just after Japan Expo I run to Arles with this pretty girl, Corny
to see the photographs exhibitions, they will be up to the 19th sept.
It was like totally awesome.
I wanted to show you some snaps I took,
but I changed my mind, I'll post them on my tumblr

Instead I'll make a hate post (yeah hate post are great)
but it will also be a love post... (long post, so it's in french below)
please, tell me if I made some mistakes : D

here I start:
Some time after seeing the exhibitions, on a blog I read a critique about these,
particularly about Gabriel Valansi work as "an uninteresting bunch of blurry snap"
This personn must be one of these I saw running, and consequently not taking any
time to WATCH.
She obviously didn't read the description which sum up the theme.

And this, this piss me off,
these bunch of people who don't ~~know to~~ observe and then made hard
and unfair critique, dreaming that they are famous art critique.
She could be a part of one of those who wisthled and booed during
the slideshow I've been. Just to say "huhu we are the elite, we go to
photographs exhibition, this is so in trend LOLOLOL, and we are in our late 30s"
(if not 40s hum)

so this was the hate part because I'm very tired of these kind of narrow-minded people
who want to look alike alternatives.

So G. Valansi worked on little instant just before chaos, better description here
This personn took my breath (HELLOW I AM YOUR NEW FANGIRL LOLZ)
He done a fabulous work. He didn't use video (because video is too mainstream lol...as you noticed, I turn into a lolcat recently) He used interlace technique, which match perfectly with the theme (won't talk about other part because they are less interesting to me) It shows the subtle change of landscape just before a cataclysm.

You have to move, side to side, in front of each piece to see that they are
NOT BLURRY SHOTS (SILLY-PERSONN)
It ask time, and attention, all isn't given to you at the same time, wich is subtle an witty
to show the tinyest change who must took like 2 sec in reality so-you-can't-notice-anything

Donc juste apres Japan Expo je suis allee à Arles

Et je vais faire un hate/love post.

Apres etre revenu d'Arles, je suis tombée sur un blog-trop-caca
qui faisait une critique des expos, et plus particulierement de l'expo de Gabriel Valansi. Cette personne en parlait comme "un regroupement de photos floues" (ou a peu pres) Elle doit faire partie des gens qui font des expos en courant, pour les terminer le plus vite possible et qui du coup NE VOIENT RIEN.
De plus, elle n'avait pas l'air d'avoir lu la fiche descriptive du theme traite... merveilleux.

Et la j'etait trop "OMGWTFBBQ je vais te faire manger ta langue", parce que ça me saoule ces gens qui ne regardent pas et qui se permettent de jouer au critique d'art.
Elle faisait sans doute partie des gens qui ont sifflees et huees les photos du diaporama en plein air auquel j'ai eu la chance d'assister. Juste pour faire genre "huhu on est trop l'elite on va dans des expos photos, c'est trop hype, et on va sur nos 40 ans" (si ce n'est 50...)

Voila, j'en ai marre de ces gens a l'esprit ferme qui se veulent "underground"

G. Valansi a travaille sur les quelques instant avant le chaos, plus particulierement
sur des videos de guerre, meilleure description ici
Donc lui c'est le plus meilleur (FANGIRL LAME LOLZ)
Au lieu d'utiliser la video (parce que les videos plan fixe c'est tellement hype que ça ne
l'est plus) il a utilise une technique (dont je ne trouve pas le nom en fançais, donc si vous savez merci de me renseigner : D Je pensais que c'etait les cartes holographiques, c'est comme ça que je les appelais quand j'etais petite, mais non) qui fait que l'image change quand on change de point de vue, ce qui correspond parfaitement au theme traite et permet de montrer les subtils changements du paysage avant un cataclysme.

On doit bouger devant chaque oeuvres pour voir que ce ne sont
PAS DES PHOTOS FLOUES (STUPIDE-PERSONNE)
ça demande du temps, et de l'attention, tout ne tombe pas tout cuit et
nous permet de voir d'infimes changements qui correspondent quelques secondes dans la realité et qu'on ne peut par consequent pas voir.

G. Valansi, je vous aime.

(bon vous l'aurez devine, c'etait l'une de mes expos favorites donc la (non)critique
a deux balles m'a un peu fait sortir de mes gonds)
au dessus, une video d'une des oeuvres, celle ci etant l'une de celles ou les changements sont le plus evident, ça vous permettra aussi de voir et hypothetiquement me renseigner sur le nom de la technique utilisee.

edit: en fait ça s'appelle de l'imagerie lenticulaire :)

there was an exhibition about Chopin : D

last part of my trip in HK

on the beach, there was a wedding photoshoot, it was really really kitsh

to be honest I don't feel like living in hong kong, too much noise, people, heat.
spending holidays is not a problem but think I couldn't bear this kind of stressfull life all the time.

yeeeaah I know,

but I was busy these latest days.

If I've been to HK, it was mainly for funeral
(for obvious reason there is not any pict of the funeral)
and see my familly.

I saw the tomb of my great grand father

and of my grand father, it's a very quiet place.

I ve been to a temple, rare quiet places in HK (with cemeteries)

I think that this is a quite representative thing of HK,
you just cannot escape buildings and so people.
It's a bit better in the islands but,
you 'll never feel like he last human on world, never.

in the plane
Flight to HongKong, I spent nearly twelve hours in this plane and I hardly slept D:
but I was near the Windows, and that was just great ♥ ♥

Most of them have at least nearly 40 floors (I live in France, so I'm not used
to see very high buildings XD)

So the streets are quite dark during the day, and there is more light at night see ...

Well I'm back home, and that is good : D

First of all, I hope that you spent a happy new year eve.
And I wish good things for all of you.

I need some time to edit photos,
clean the fridge because-I-am-silly
(I turned the electricity off, at this moment I forget the fact that the

Awesome news, known that since late october but I prefered to wait a bit to warn you mainly because was affraid that could be cancelled.

Next friday, I'll take a flight to Hong Kong for two weeks during christmas holidays.
I must say that I'm a little bit anxious to see my family...

Dans moins d'une semaine, je m'envolerai vers Hong Kong pour la premiere fois.
Pendant presque toute la durée des vacances de noël, je rentre le 30 ou le 31 je ne sais plus.
un chouette voyage en perspective donc.

en revanche je vais voir ma famille, je dois avouer que ça m'angoisse un peu vu que je ne les connais pas/ que je baragouine vaguement la langue, mais bon ils parlent tous anglais donc ça va encore.

normalement jaurais une connection internet, du coup j'essayerai de poster aussi souvent que possible un compte rendu, avec photo : D
sinon, je ferais ça a mon retour.

I made this crown flower, in fabric, for a disguise based on the theme of the tales and the legends.
I chose rose red from "snow white and rose red" by Grimm (love this story~)
I know that the color of the crown don't perfectly fit with the character, but I prefer it that way : D

aujourd'hui je vais vous montrer un des trucs que je fais en atelier,

on fait un pendentif en serti clos (le pierre est totalement entourée et maintenue par le metal)
avec le dos du pendentif ajouré d'un motif imaginé par nous meme(et ça c'est trop cool)
la première parti que je vais vous montrer, c'est juste le repercé
c-à-d une plaque de metal percée puis sciée selon le dessin de maniere a donner un motif en "vide et plein" (toi aussi apprend a parler avec Rukya XD)

si j'ai le temps je ferais peut etre deux trois pendentifs en metal ajourés comme ça pour Space Deer, si ça vous interesse ~

this one is not too bad, but a little bit dark

this one is just awful, too much grey, gave an iron effect eww...

tried brilliant effect and matt effect, with an onyx stone.

Je commence un nouveau blog, qui correspondra plus a mes centres d'intérêt.
je laisse l'ancien blog, vous pouvez donc toujours retrouver mes comics strips trop lolant. mon blog
je sais pas trop ce que ça va donner, mais je vais essayer de poster une fois par semaine minimum étant donné que j'ai enfin le wifi a la maison.

Je suppose que je vous parlerai beaucoup des objets qui m'obsèdent et que je veeeeuuux, de ma passion dévorante d'achats de magazines de modes (oh non!), de ce que je fais à l'école (même que c'est trop trop cool) et toujours des extraits de mes carnets et possiblement des photos.

Ah et je pense écrire ce truc en anglais histoire de m'entrainer un peu. Mais je peux garder le systeme partie en français, puis en anglais.
